Parents FAQ's
-
Who is the ‘Party Leader’?
The ‘Party Leader’ is the teacher in charge of running the trip. They are the main point of contact for your child’s school trip, and liaise directly with the tour operator, collaborate on the itinerary, and communicate with parents.
-
Can I call Equity to talk about my child's trip?
We are only able to talk to the assigned party leader or a nominated staff member at the school. For any queries about your child’s school trip, please contact the Party Leader.
-
What happens if my child has a food allergy?
Please alert your Party Leader to any food allergies or intolerances as soon as possible. They are in charge of collating all of the information regarding your child’s school trip, and we’ll work with them to ensure your child has an appropriate menu.
-
Who is responsible for my child on the trip?
The Party Leader and staff from the school are responsible for all children partaking in our school trips.
-
What activities will be offered, and does my child have to do them all?
The trip itinerary will be built by both our travel specialists at Equity and the Party Leader at your school to make sure everyone has a great trip. Each trip is unique, with activities tailored to the curricular needs and interests of each group.
