For years, Equity has worked alongside teachers to deliver school trips that are safe, purposeful, and genuinely supportive of curriculum goals. For us, that partnership does not end when the coach pulls back into the school car park at the end of a successful trip – we want to hear all about your experience and thoughts, too.

That's why, after every trip, we invite group leaders to complete a Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ). We understand that teachers are busy, particularly after returning from a school trip. However, these questionnaires play a vital role in helping us refine, strengthen, and future-proof the experiences we offer.

At its core, the CSQ gives you space to reflect honestly and give us feedback on how the trip worked in practice — not just how it looked on paper.

What is a CSQ?

A CSQ is a short post-trip feedback form covering key areas such as accommodation, transport, excursions, support from our team, and the overall experience for both students and staff.

While our itineraries are designed by experienced specialists who know our destinations inside out, no one understands how a trip truly lands better than the teachers who lead it. Your insight helps us see the trip through your eyes, and gauge how well the trip fulfilled your specific requirements.

How Equity uses CSQs

CSQs are not just a formality or a tick-box exercise. Every response is read carefully and shared with the relevant operational, product, and support teams.

Your feedback helps us to:

  • Refine itineraries and improve pacing

  • Review accommodation and transport partners

  • Strengthen pre-departure guidance and communication

  • Identify recurring challenges and address them proactively

Over time, patterns in feedback also allow us to make strategic improvements, while individual comments will lead to immediate conversations or adjustments. Many of the refinements we have made over the years come directly from teacher feedback received on CSQs.

Addressing real teacher pain points

We know that leading a school trip comes with pressures that aren’t always visible in an itinerary: managing student behaviour, balancing learning with energy levels, handling logistics on the ground, and feeling responsible for every moving part.

CSQs allow you to flag:

  • Where timings felt tight or too loose

  • If certain activities worked better in theory than in reality, and adhered to learning objectives as planned

  • Any points where communication from us could have been clearer

  • What genuinely made your job easier on the trip

This feedback helps us better support future group leaders, including you – should you travel with us again.

A collaborative approach to better trips

By filling in your CSQ, you're helping ensure that school trips continue to evolve in line with what teachers and students really need. Your feedback helps keep us best informed as we continue to build trips that are practical, purposeful, and rewarding for everyone involved.

So, here's to our smoothest school trips yet – and it's all thanks to you.
