Equity Sponsors the 2026 ESSKIA Championships

We’re proud to have sponsored and attended the 2026 English Schools’ Ski Association (ESSKIA) English Finals & Open Championships this weekend, joining educators, parents and students in celebrating school skiing and watching impressive young athletes compete at the event.

Taking place at Norfolk Snowsports Club on 10 and 11 October, ESSKIA brings young skiers from schools across England together each year for a weekend of unparalleled competitive school skiing. The championships showcase some phenomenal ski racing teams, with students demonstrating not only their technical and athletic abilities but also the confidence, determination and teamwork that they’ve developed through skiing.

Supporting skills beyond the slopes

At Equity, we also recognise the increasing commitment schools make to prioritising ski trips and competitive skiing, giving students opportunities to develop skills that extend well beyond the slopes. Learning to persevere through challenges, support teammates and build confidence in unfamiliar environments can make a lasting difference to young people, setting up for the soft skills that will set them in good stead later in life – both on and off the slopes.

Our ski trips are constantly evolving to align with the needs of our schools, and meeting educators, parents and students at events like ESSKIA helps us keep up-to-date with their changing requirements when it comes to ski trips.
